پاراگراف نویسی در زبان انگلیسی یکی از مهارت های ضروری برای زبان آموزان در بهبود مهارت نوشتاری آن ها است.

تعریف پاراگراف نویسی در زبان انگلیسی

پاراگراف، مجموعه‌ای از جملات منظم و منسجم است که همگی به یک موضوع مرتبط می‌پردازند. در واقع، تقریباً هر نوشته‌ای که تهیه می‌کنید، از تعدادی جمله تشکیل شده و این جملات به صورت یک پاراگراف سازماندهی می‌شوند. پاراگراف‌ها بخش‌های فرعی یک مقاله هستند که به خواننده نشان می‌دهند از کجا شروع می‌شوند و به کجا پایان می‌یابند. این بدان معناست که پاراگراف به خواننده کمک می‌کند تا ساختار کلی مقاله را درک کند و نکات اصلی را به خوبی بفهمد.

محتوای پاراگراف ها

محتوای پاراگراف‌ها بستگی به موضوع و هدف اصلی نوشته دارد. هر پاراگراف باید درباره یک موضوع خاص صحبت کند و اطلاعات، تفسیرها و دلایل مرتبط را برای پشتیبانی از آن موضوع ارائه کند.

معمولاً پاراگراف از سه بخش تشکیل شده است: جمله موضوعی (topic sentence)، جملات پشتیبانی و توضیح، و جمله‌ی پایانی. در جمله موضوع، موضوع اصلی پاراگراف بیان می‌شود. جملات پشتیبانی و توضیح، اطلاعات و تفسیرهای مرتبط با موضوع ارائه می‌شوند تا بتوانند ایده اصلی را توضیح دهند و پشتیبانی کنند. جمله‌ی پایانی، یک خلاصه‌ی کوتاه از مطلب پاراگراف ارائه می‌شود و ممکن است بازتابی از جمله موضوع یا ایده اصلی داشته باشد.

جمله موضوعی (topic sentence)

یک جمله موضوع یک جمله است که اصلیترین ایده یک پاراگراف را بیان می‌کند. اغلب این جمله در ابتدای پاراگراف قرار می‌گیرد، اما ممکن است در انتها یا در مکانی دیگر قرار بگیرد. جمله موضوعی به خلاصه کردن و سازماندهی اطلاعات موجود در یک پاراگراف کمک می کند.

در ادامه، ما چندین نکته برای نوشتن یک جمله موضوع خوب نوشته ایم:

1. اطمینان حاصل کنید که واضح و مختصر باشد. خواننده باید پس از خواندن جمله موضوع، اصلیترین ایده پاراگراف را متوجه شود.
2. اطمینان حاصل کنید که خاص باشد. جمله موضوع نباید خیلی کلی باشد. باید بر یک نکته یا ایده خاص تمرکز کند.

ساختار پاراگراف ها در زبان انگلیسی

بیشتر پاراگراف ها یک مقاله دارای ساختار سه قسمتی هستند.

1 – مقدمه (introduction)
