1: noticed a thing:

آگاه شدن از چیزی ، توجه کردن به چیزی

I’ve never noticed a thing.

من یه ذره هم توجه نکردم. noticed به معنی متوجه شدن و ملتفت بودن است.

Have you noticed any change in him?

آیا متوجه تغییراتی در او شده اید؟

2: had on

پوشیدن

I had nothing to wear except the clothes i had on.

من هیچ لباسی به جز لباس هایی که پوشیده بودم برای پوشیدن نداشتم.

He had his best suit on in the wedding ceremony.

او بهترین لباس خود را در مراسم عروسی به تن داشت.

3: scuba diving

غواصی

the most awful thing is I didn’t have the chance to go scuba diving.

بدترین چیز این است که من فرصت رفتن غواصی را نداشتم. the most awful thing عبارت اسمی است. awful به معنی خیلی بد است.

I’m sure Suzy is dead but the awful thing is not knowing how it happened.

من مطمئن هستم که سوزی مرده است اما نکته مهم این است که نمی دانم چگونه اتفاق افتاده است.

4: have trouble

مشکل داشتن

I was having trouble understanding menu.

من در فهم منو مشکل دارم. trouble به معنی مشکل است. به جمله زیر توجه کنید:

We’re having a lot of trouble with the new computer system.

ما با سیستم رایانه ای جدید بسیار مشکل داریم.

5: can’t wait to see somebody/something:

بسیار هیجان زده بودن در مورد چیزی یا کسی و مشتاق انجام یا تجربه آن:

I can’t wait to see that temple.

من نمی تونم برای دیدن معبد منتظر بمونم.

6: stand

ایستادن

the bus was very crowded and I had to stand most of the way.

اتوبوس خیلی شلوغ بود و من مجبور شدم بیشتر مسیر را بایستم.

7: in front of somebody/something

روبروی کسی یا چیزی

I kept it in front of myself for the entire trip.

من اونو توی کل مسافرت جلوی چشم خودم گذاشتم.
