تعریف :
در گرامر زبان انگلیسی have got معادل با have و has got از لحاظ معنایی معادل با has می باشد با این تفاوت که have/has got غیر رسمی (informal) می باشد.
توجه 1 :
have/has got معمولا در زمان حال ساده مورد برای مالکیت ، ارتباط ، ویژگیها ، بیماری ها و … صحبت می کند.
مثال :
She’s got two pencils = she has two pencils.
توجه 2 :
have/has got به شکل استمراری استفاده نمی شود
She has gotting two books. (غلط)
توجه 3 :
هرگز از got در پاسخ های کوتاه (short answer) استفاده نکنید.
