گرامر there is و there are زبان انگلیسی

در این نوشته، قصد داریم به زبان آموزان آموزش دهیم که چگونه از “there is” و “there are” در زبان انگلیسی استفاده کنند.

این دو عبارت برای نشان دادن وجود یک یا چند جسم یا فرد به کار می‌روند. “There is” برای مفرد و “there are” برای جمع استفاده می‌شود.

به عنوان مثال:

• توی اتاق یک کتاب هست. (There is a book in the room.)
• توی اتاق چند کتاب هستند. (There are some books in the room.)

لازم به ذکر است که برای استفاده در زمان‌های مختلف، نیاز است که با قواعد زمان‌ها آشنا باشید.

1 – فرم مثبت there is و there are در گرامر زبان انگلیسی

there is + ….

برای حالت مفرد استفاده می شود.

There is one table in the classroom.

یک میز در کلاس وجود دارد.

There is a spider in the bath.

یک عنکبوت در حمام وجود دارد.

توجه : ما از there is قبل از اسم غیرقابل شمارش نیز استفاده می کنیم.

There is milk in the fridge.

شیر در یخچال وجود دارد. در این جمله شیر (milk) اسم غیرقابل شمارش (uncountable nouns) است.

There is some sugar on the table.

مقداری شکر روی میز است. در این جمله شکر ( sugar ) اسم غیرقابل شمارش (uncountable nouns) است.

there are + ….

برای حالت جمع استفاده می شود.

There are three chairs in the classroom.

سه صندلی در کلاس وجود دارد.

There are three Japanese students in my class.

سه دانش آموز ژاپنی در کلاس من هستند.

There are two new buildings next to the school. They are both science buildings.

دو ساختمان جدید در کنار مدرسه وجود دارد. آنها هر دو ساختمان علمی هستند.

مخفف ها

there is = there’s

There’s a good song on the radio.

یک آهنگ خوب در رادیو وجود دارد.

درست است که مخفف there are باید به شکل there’re باشد، اما باید توجه داشت که در عمل این مخفف اغلب به شکل there’re استفاده نمی‌شود، زیرا تلفظ آن برای بسیاری از افراد سخت است. بنابراین، اغلب از شکل کامل there are استفاده می‌شود و به جای استفاده از مخفف، از شکل کامل استفاده می‌شود.

there aren’t + any

وقتی ما بخواهیم مقدار صفر از چیزی را نشان دهیم از این ساختار استفاده می کنیم.

There aren’t any people at the party.

هیچ فردی در مهمانی نیست.

There aren’t any trees in my street.

هیچ درختی در خیابان من نیست.

در استخر آب وجود ندارد.

There isn’t any sugar in my coffee.

هیچ قندی در قهوه من وجود ندارد.
