Ehsan Mirhoseyni was born on July 3, 1985 in Bandar Abbas, Hormozgan, Iran. He has done works on traditional culture, especially the women’s burqa and the social issues surrounding them, as well as the legends of this region in the field of painting, photography, and new art. In 2006, he began extensive research on the burqa in Hormozgan. His research helped to preserve the burqa, which was in decline. He published the results of his study in the book Burqa, Climatic Art and Aboriginal Identity in 2015. He participated in several exhibitions and festivals, including a solo fair of photo, video, and installation art titled Gariz: Aesthetics of Pain in 2012, a group exhibition titled Image of Women in Iranian Contemporary Art at the Armenian Center for Contemporary Experimental Arts in 2015, and the Fajr International Festival of Visual Arts in Tehran in 2012. He held a master’s degree in painting and a bachelor’s in visual arts education, as well as teaching at universities and art schools, being director of the educational and research visual arts website. He published his works in various books and publications, such as the Festival of Art for Peace book, Photographic, Scientific, Cultural, and Artistic Magazine, and Scientific and Analytical Iranian Artist House Publication.
